Rihanna is thankful for Chris Brown and their 'fresh start'

Rihanna is thankful that Chris Brown is back in her life!

Contact Music reports that the two superstars have made amends and are not only back together but also spent the holidays together as well as Rihanna’s 25th birthday celebration in Hawaii.

After Brown assaulted Rihanna in 2009, the two split, only to be reunited for a “fresh start.”

In fact, according to People Rihanna mentioned that there are hopes for a baby within the next five years. The singer added that she wishes to be happy and healthy as well.

“Right now, that’s just what we want, a great friendship, that’s just unbreakable,” stated Rihanna, “Now that we’re adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and we’re thankful for that.”

Rihanna also said how difficult it was to take Brown back. However, after taking time for deep thought, she finally came to her own decision to start anew.

Despite her acceptance of Brown, many still believe Rihanna is making a mistake and the two are recieving great criticism.
