Rihanna tweets apologies to disappointed Boston fans following concert cancellation

Rihanna has taken to Twitter to apologize after being forced for medical reasons to cancel her concert in Boston, just one of the stops on her Diamonds World Tour.

According to On The Red Carpet, the 25-year-old singer expressed her displeasure with having to disappoint her fans after being diagnosed with laryngitis.

The “Rude Boy” singer tweeted, “#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down.”

She added, “I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! #DWT.”

As we previously reported, Rihanna was ordered to set aside her precious instrument, and rest her singing voice.
According to reports, she is still expected to perform in Baltimore on Tuesday.

Fans who hoped to attend the cancelled show have been told to keep track of their tickets as Rihanna is expected to return to Boston for a makeup concert.
