Robert Kirkman to release Exorcism TV Project along with his 'Thief of Thieves'

By Ricky Riley,

Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, has a new project in the works that focuses on exorcism.

According to The Wrap, Fox International, Circle of Confusion, and Kirkman’s Skybound will base the show off of an upcoming comic book project for Image Comics. The show will likely be shown on AMC.

The future untitled series will follow Kyle Barnes a young man who goes on a spiritual journey to find out why he’s constantly possessed by ghosts. According to the report, if he finds out the reason why, it could mean the end of life on Earth.

However, this is just one of many projects Kirkman is working on. According to
Indiewire, the creator plans to bring to life another one of his comics, Thief of Thieves, which is also in development at AMC. This show will focus on a master thief trying to put his life back together. He wants to get back with his estranged ex-wife and child. His character deals with his addiction to thievery by only stealing things that have already been stolen.

With the success of the Walking Dead, Kirkman has gained a lot of credibility as a TV show producer.

TV audiences may have the chance to see another Kirkman property, Invincible, a comic that focuses on a young alien superhero that fights a galactic empire.
