Sorry, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills producers, but Rod Stewart’s wife, Penny Lancaster, doesn’t want to take part in your show.
Stewart spoke with TMZ Thursday at LAX and was asked if his wife is still in talks to join the hit Bravo reality series.
“She doesn't want to do that sort of thing,” the singer told the site. “She's just happy being a mom.”
Another source confirmed the news to Perez Hilton, revealing that Stewart was actually for her participation in RHoBH.
“Penny is flattered to be asked, but she sees what the show has done to past Housewives’ marriages, friendships and family ties — so, even though Rod would be fully supportive of her if she did join, she has no intention of heading down that same route,” the insider told Hilton.
The insider also noted that Lancaster feels that she doesn’t need a reality show to raise her profile. “She’s a successful photographer and has a great career in her own right, so she really wouldn’t really have anything to gain by signing up.”
So with Lancaster out of the running, Dayna Devon, the former Extra host, is reportedly still being considered.
