New rumors have surfaced stating that Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale are planning to team up to help get the Justice League up and running.
Nolan has long maintained that The Dark Knight Rises is his last and final Batman film, and the addition of Bale would seemingly bring a wow factor to the film, although would be difficult to make sense. Bale stars as Batman in the hit trilogy which concluded in 2012. Bale’s Bruce Wayne is a normal person-with millions- who uses his money to create the secret identity that is Batman.
If Bale and Nolan should join Justice League, Batman would team up with Henry Cavill as Superman First Showing reports.
The site notes that sources from Latino Review are trying to keep the news under wraps but that Nolan is in the talks to oversee the project. They are comparing the film to the widely successful Avengers.
First Showing notes if Bale does come back as Batman, the ending to The Dark Knight Rises will no longer remain a ‘cliffhanger’ which left fans guessing if Alfred (Michael Cane) really did see Bruce Wayne in the café or if he simply wanted it to happen so badly he imagined it.
So far, Bale and Nolan have not commented on what is speculated as rumor.
