Ryan Gosling takes a break from acting in films

Like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling recently also decided that he would take a break from acting.

In a recent interview, the 32-year-old star told Associated Press, “I’ve being doing it too much. I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing. I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it”.

Ryan Gosling started acting since age 8, by being a member of Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club. He became extremely popular after him appearing in the adaptation of Nicolas Sparks’ romance The Notebook, reported US Magazine. After that, he had played lead roles in various types of movies, including comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love, politic thriller The Idea of March and action crime Gangster Squad.

However, Gosling didn’t enjoy the spotlight. He said, “There’s a lot of pressure to be the lead of a film. . .It’s not my favorite way to work.”

Before Gosling completely disappears on screen, he will be seen in The Place Beyond the Pines with Eva Mendas, due on March 29, 2013 and in Only God Forgives, which is currently in post-production.
