With her husband Matthew Broderick in tow, Sex and the City vet Sarah Jessica Parker stopped by the Museum of Modern Art to check out Tilda Swinton’s new installment called “The Maybe,” which features the Chronicles of Narnia star sleeping in a glass box.
According to The Huffington Post, the living art piece is a revival of a 1995 collaboration with Cornelia Parker at London’s Serpentine Gallery, which originally drew a crowd of 22,000 visitors. The exhibit features a napping Swinton snoozing on a cushion with a water jug nearby. The Oscar-winning actress will make six more unannounced appearances during the 2013 season.
Although some might be confused about the meaning behind the project, a museum statement tells visitors that, “Those who find it chance upon it for themselves, live and in real — shared — time: now we see it, now we don't.”
People reported that Parker, who turned 48 on March 25, visited the installation on Monday with husband Matthew Broderick by her side. The I Don’t Know How She Does It star kept her look casual, sporting a cream colored cardigan atop light colored jeans.
