Scott Bakula apparently holds no hard feelings toward TNT for cancelling Men of a Certain Age. The Quantum Leap star has joined the cable network’s bounty hunter pilot, which will co-star Geena Davis.
According to TV Line, Bakula will play the A League of Their Own actress' ex-husband in the series.
Davis was cast in January to play real-life Seattle bondswoman Mackenzie Green, who has a quirky, eccentric personality. Her unusual style gives her an edge as a bounty hunter.
Dean Devlin (Leverage) will direct the pilot, which was written by Scott Prendergast and Amy Ber. Production is set to start this month. Marsha Mason will play Davis’ mother.
Bakula is also set to star in a Two and a Half Men episode next month and has a role in Steven Soderbergh's HBO film about Liberace, Behind The Candelabra. His other TV roles include The New Adventures of Old Christine and Star Trek: Enterprise.
TNT’s other new shows in development include Murder in the First and Jerry Bruckheimer’s unscripted Marshall Law: Texas.
