Ever since Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber split, magazines and tabloids have been quick to speculate about their love lives. When it comes to Gomez, despite reports, the Spring Breakers actress remains a single lady.

This week, Selena was rumored to have a new boyfriend. She was linked to one of her guy friends, a friend she met through Spring Breakers co-star, Ashley Benson. The rumors started after she was simply photographed walking with him on Saturday, March 9. Selena thought the rumors were funny, according to a source for Celebuzz.

“Selena was laughing at the reports after they surfaced,” said the source. “She couldn’t believe he was being touted as her boyfriend, merely because she photographed walking alongside him.”

The source insists Selena isn’t seeing anyone right now.

“Selena is not dating anyone at the moment,” the source said. “She’s been very strong in the aftermath of her relationship with Justin [Bieber]. She is not looking back.”

According to a recent Radar Online report, after dating 19-year-old Bieber for two years, Gomez, 20, is now looking to date an older, more mature man.

“Selena is doing really well and feels like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders now that Justin is out of the picture,” a source for Radar Online claims. The source added, “Her sights are set on a much more mature man who won’t embarrass her or cause childish fights for no reason.”
