Sesame Street puppeteer Kevin Clash is the subject of more lawsuits after Sheldon Stevens, one of his prior accusers, now claims that Clash lured him in with x-rated drug parties which included smoking crystal meth.
Stephens has filed a federal lawsuit against Clash with the allegations that Clash baited him with drug-sex parties, New York Daily News reports. The suit alleges that Clash would send drivers to go pick up Sheldon from Pennsylvania and bring him to New York.
The suit states, “A male chauffeur drove Clash and Sheldon to the chauffeur’s apartment, where they had a crystal meth sex party. While in the apartment, Clash smoked crystal meth while engaging in sexual activity with Sheldon. Clash also gave Sheldon ‘poppers’ as a sexual aide. While Clash had sexual contact with Sheldon, the chauffeur (sic) watched and masturbated.”
24-year-old Stevens first came forward in November. He was offered a hefty settlement and recanted his story, but only days later said he was pressured into signing the document and stood by his original story.
NY Daily News notes that Clash’s lawyer is calling these new allegations “meritless and bared by the statute of limitations.”
Clash resigned from his position as the voice of Elmo last year after allegations of sex with minors surfaced.
