Steve Madden's wife gives birth to baby girl

The shoe designer welcomed his third child last week

Steve Madden, the famous shoe designer known worldwide, welcome his third child on Friday, March 8, with wife Wendy. The couple decided to name their daughter 'Goldie Ryan.'

According to People, both the mother and newborn are doing “great.”

The couple, who married back in 2006, already have two children together – fraternal twins Jack and Stevie, 5. Madden told People, “Big brother Jack and big sister Stevie are equally thrilled at the arrival of their new baby sister.”

Wife Wendy tweeted an adorable picture of their daughter's feet, clad in gold booties.

NY Mag recently shared that Madden will be playing a small role in an upcoming film directed by Martin Scorsese. The movie is based off a 1998 fraud scandal, in which Madden was actually a part of. However, actor Jake Hoffman will be portraying the persona of Madden, with Madden's actual part being much smaller.

The designer was given 41 months in jail for 'manipulations of stocks', and both money and security fraud in 2002.

Actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, and Jonah Hill star in Scorsese's Wolf of Wall Street as well, which is set to hit theaters in November of 2013.
