‘SYTYCD’ winner Jeanine Mason lands role in new pilot ‘Delirium’

The very talented season 5 winner of So You Think You Can Dance Jeanine Mason has landed a starring role opposite Emma Roberts in the new show Delirium.

The Fox series is based on the trilogy by Lauren Oliver and takes place in a world where love is seen as a disease that must be cured via surgery. According to TV Line the show will star Roberts as Lena Holoway, who falls in love with a cop. Mason will play the best friend Hana, a notorious party girl who loves to dance and flirt.

This will not be Jeanine’s first try at acting as she previously appeared in ABC Family’s Bunheads, as stated in The Hollywood Reporter.

The dancer seems quite excited for the role and tweeted, “HOLY MOLY. This is happening. I can’t believe it!”

Gregg Sulkin from Pretty Little Liars and Daren Kagasoff from Secret Life of an American Teenager have also been cast in the series. Delirium will air in Fall 2013.
