T.I. and Toya Wright slam TMZ following Lil Wayne's hospitalization

Rapper Lil Wayne is resting and doing just fine following a seizure which sent him to the hospital last week.

A friend of Lil Wayne's, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., reveals, "He's good, just resting," CNN reports. The “Love Me” singer has been “good” since the seizure, but numerous reports stated otherwise following news of his hospitalization. As we previously reported, TMZ stated that the musician was in critical condition with his mother on her way to make final decisions as to whether or not keep him on life support.

Since the reports surfaced, Carter’s publicist slammed TMZ’s stories, and his friends and colleagues continue to slam the gossip site for their failed reporting.

Eurweb reports that T.I. and Toya Wright are the most recent celebs to take to Twitter to slam the site.

Wright, the ex-wife of the hospitalized rapper and mother to his child, posted on Instagram titled “We gotta do better. I love you.” The message reads, “It would be a much better world if people would just stop and think before they spread RUMORS. Have you considered all the people you are really hurting with your lies???? #kids #family #friends.”

T.I. took a more vulgar approach on Twitter writing, “Just holla’d @my Lil bruh Tunechi…& he skraight! TMZ some f**k-niggaz for reporting that hoe-a*s-s*it!!! That man daughter is like mines. That sh**!t surely got his mama hurtin,his kids hurtin,& he got true to da game patnas like me & Othas who ready to RIDE bout all da f**k sh*t.”

It is unclear when the rapper will be released.
