10. Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Directed by Danny Boyle, this British drama starring real life couple Dev Patel and Freida Pinto stole the 2008 award show season by snatching up eight Academy Awards, including Best Original Score and Best Original Song. This movie included many smash hits, including "Jai Ho" and "Latika's Theme" by composer A. R. Rahman.

9. Inception (2010)
In addition to having a star-studded cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard and Tom Hardy, this Christopher Nolan film also contains a thrilling film score created by Hans Zimmer.

8. Harry Potter Series (2001-2010)
Few films have theme songs more recognizable than the Harry Potter tune created by John Williams. The eight part series contains music written by John Williams, Eddie Karam, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, Conrad Pope, and Alexandre Desplat.
