Usher, Harry Belafonte, Jackson Browne & John Fogerty added to guests for Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum announced additional guests who will make appearances at the Class of 2013 induction ceremony on April 18 in Los Angeles.

This year’s Hall of Fame Class includes Public Enemy, Rush, Heart, Randy Newman, Albert King and Donna Summer. Legendary producers Quincy Jones and Lou Adler will be honored with the Ahmet Ertegun non-performer award.

In today’s announcement, the Rock Hall confirmed that Public Enemy, Rush, Heart and Newman are slated to perform. According to Zap2It, the event organizers also added Usher, who will perform for Jones; Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains, who will perform with Heart; Spike Lee and Harry Belafonte, to honor Public Enemy; and Carole King to perform for Adler.

Chris Cornell will be on hand to induct Heart, while Cheech & Chong will present Adler his non-performer award. Jackson Browne and John Fogerty will perform with Newman.

The Rock Hall already announced that John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr will team up to honor King, while Don Henley will induct Newman. Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson will perform for Summer and Foo Fighters members will induct Rush.

Public tickets for the ceremony are already sold out. The show will air on HBO on May 18.
