Former Mary Tyler Moore Show star, Valerie Harper, revealed a bombshell this week, that she had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
In her original announcement to People magazine, Harper said doctors told her she only had three months to live following her diagnosis.
Now, USA Today reports the actress, 73, will be speaking out about her condition in a variety of talk shows next week. On Monday, she’ll start with The Doctors.
A release from the show reveals that Harper told the co-hosts that her husband, Tony Cacciotti, knew about the diagnosis before her.
"I didn't get it because my husband hid it. Poor baby; he was so bereft. [The doctors] said there is nothing we can do for her and [she has] three to six months; maybe,” she explained.
Also appearing on the show with her will be her Mary Tyler Moore Show cast-mates Cloris Leachman and Ed Asner, as well as doctors from Cedars Sinai physicians who are treating her.
