Valerie Harper set to appear on 'The Doctors' to discuss rare brain cancer disease

Valerie Harper is set to discuss her brain cancer on the daytime talk show The Doctors.

According to The Associated Press, Harper is slated to appear on the hour-long informative talk show alongside Doctors Travis Stork, Lisa Masterson and Andrew Ordon,who are aware of the rare cancer with which Harper has been diagnosed.

Harper revealed that she was diagnosed with, leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare form of terminal brain cancer. The 72-year-old Mary Tyler Moore Show actress revealed the devastating news, noting that she has three months to live in an interview with People.

USA Today notes that Harper’s was informed of her disease by her husband, Tony Cacciotti.

Varper will appear on an episode of The Doctors which airs Monday on CBS. She is set to be joined by Mary Tyler Moore Show costars Cloris Leachman and Ed Asner, in addition to her own team of doctors neuro-oncologist Jeremy Rudnick and oncologist Ronald Natale.
