Vanessa Hudgens to release ‘$$$ex’ single inspired by ‘Spring Breakers’ (Video)

By Lena Finkel,

Well, someone’s good girl image has certainly gone out the window! The once-upon-a-time Disney princess Vanessa Hudgens is set to release her latest single, ‘$$$ex’ inspired by her raunchy film Spring Breakers.

Written by Rock Mafia, the new single features girl-group YLA and will be released just in time for the release of the movie.

Hudgens told E! Online, “It is a bomb-ass song, I love it so much! It goes perfectly with Spring Breakers.”

She added, “It is a great song you can listen to in your car or at the club with your friends. It is a good date-night song, and a good after-the-date song! The song gets you amped up in the same way the movie does.”

With lyrics like, “Fifty in his pocket/ a condom in his wallet/ he’s not gonna sleep tonight,” how could you not be amped up?

The song seems perfectly in-tune with Vanessa’s role of Candy in Spring Breakers, in which she engages in a three-way with Ashley Benson and James Franco. But despite her new confident attitude, the actress admitted she had been a bit nervous for the sex scene.

She told The Huffington Post, “The thing I was most scared of was the sex scene and the nudity issue behind all of it.”

Both "$$$ex" and Spring Breakers were released today.
