Vivienne Westwood doesn’t like Michelle Obama’s clothing

Designer Vivienne Westwood not only has a problem with the fashion of Duchess Kate Middleton, but she also has a problem with the clothes of First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Last month during London Fashion Week, Vivienne Westwood criticized Kate Middleton for wearing too many clothes and not always recycling her clothes. She said, “You don’t have to have a red outfit one day and then something almost the same in blue the next”, reported Us Weekly.

Michelle Obama is a supporter for recycling her clothing, but Westwood still doesn’t like Obama’s fashion style. She told the New York Times in an interview that Obama’s clothes are “dreadful”. She later also compared Michelle Obama to another First Lady - Jackie Kennedy - saying that fashion exists to help people look more glamorous instead of more conservative.

Michelle Obama recently was also criticized for her appearance via satellite during the Oscars when she presented the Best Picture to Argo. Her move was a surprise and some called it “propaganda”. But the First Lady faced it calmly and said that criticism is often “the nature of things”, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
