Designer Vivienne Westwood has a lot to say about celebrities' fashion choices.
Last month, the 71-year old designer slammed Kate Middleton for not recycling her outfits, stating, "I don't have any advice for her, [although] I think it would be great if she wore the same clothes over and again, because that's very good for the environment and it would send out a very nice message," reports US Weekly.
She continued, "If you're going to all that trouble to get an outfit that suits you, then you should keep on wearing it. I mean, you don't have to have a red outfit one day and then something almost the same in blue the next."
She also has a problem with Middleton's makeup. "The sharp line around her eyes make her look hard."
Now, Westwood has some harsh words for First Lady Michelle Obama, telling the New York Times, "Don’t talk about her. It’s dreadful what she wears."
She went on to tell the confused interviewer, "I don’t want to talk about it. Really, I can’t. She’s a very nice looking lady, but it’s a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her. Jackie Kennedy was a different matter altogether. It just has to suit her and be something that makes a human being more glamorous. That’s what fashion is there for. It’s there to help, not just to make you look more conservative."
