Mochrie's manager told Entertainment Weekly he was slyly answering a question from magazine Wenatchee World, in which an article quoted former Whose Line co-star Ryan Stiles saying he would be working on a new season in L.A. this April.
Whose Line’s new season will be revived with a new host, comedian Aisha Tyler, and the old cast, including Mochrie, Stiles and actor/singer Wayne Brady.
Mochrie’s manager didn’t confirm to EW these details, however.
The former series, “where the rules were made up and the points didn’t matter,” aired for eight seasons from 1998-2004 on ABC and from 2005-2007 on ABC Family.
A rep for original host Drew Carey, currently the host of The Price Is Right, told EW she had no idea about the revival, though. Carey also hosts a similar improv-format series on the Game Show Network, Drew Carey’s Improv-a-Ganza.
