Bravo announced Tuesday that it has greenlit a whopping 17 new shows and is renewing 18. The home of the Real Housewives series is also adding another spin-off to the incredibly popular reality franchise.
Bravo, a NBCUniversal owned cable network, boasted that its viewership is up 8 percent over the past year and that its audience in the target 18-49 and 25-54 demos is up 5 percent and 7 percent, respectively.
Frances Berwick, President of Bravo and Style Media, said in a statement that the network’s “ongoing investment in high-quality original content across every platform continues to drive our growth year-over-year, securing our top 10 network ranking...Bravo’s signature lifestyle entertainment brand continues to engage our growing passionate ‘affluencer’ audience.”
The new shows include: Below Deck (Summer 2013), City Sisters (Fall 2013), Courtney Loves Dallas (Most Eligible Dallas spin-off), Divorce Diva, Eat, Drink, Love (summer 2013), Extreme Guide to Parenting (Fall 2013), Fashion Queens, The Kandi Factory (RH of Atlanta spin-off - April 9), Newlyweds: The First Year (May 6), Property Envy (summer 2013), Southern Charm, Taking Atlanta (Summer 2013), Thicker Than Water: The Tankards (Fall 2013), Two Fit Girls, Ladies of London, Princesses: Long Island (June 2) and 100 Days of Summer.
The network also greenlit three scripted shows, including Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce, Heiress and High and Low. Other reality shows in development include Ivy League Confidential, America’s Best Restaurant and Rich People’s Problems. All these reality shows have working titles at the moment.
The shows that have been renewed include both Million Dollar Listing editions as well as all Real Housewives series.
