Drew Barrymore, who gave birth to baby Olive six months ago, discussed some of the more unusual changes she experienced during pregnancy with In Touch Magazine, including facial hair and skin discoloration.
In the interview, the 38-year-old star revealed that in addition to the discoloration on her cheeks, she developed a little peach fuzz on her face.
“I got a wonderful little goatee - and it was red! I also got hyperpigmentation on my cheeks.”
Luckily, the CoverGirl spokesmodel was able to keep the hyperpigmentation under control with a microdermabrasion treatment as well as a little concealer.
"If I was going off to a desert island, concealer is the one thing I'd want to take. It's the only product that I couldn’t make it without!" she said.
Because the new mom just gave birth to her daughter with husband, Will Kopelman, in October, she’s still struggling with a little baby weight. However, the Whip It! star says that she’s not going to force herself to lose weight.
“I’d rather kill myself than get into a bikini right now!” she joked. “I take care of myself. But I’m never going to be the person who talks about diet and exercise - I would fail that conversation!”
For Barrymore, the most important thing in her life is her family, and she doesn’t want anything to interfere with time with Olive.
“This is sacred time,” she says of Olive’s age, indicating that she will take on fewer projects in Hollywood so that she can devote her time fully to being a mom.
