Justin Bieber's new pet monkey detained by customs in Germany

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Justin Bieber attempted to bring a pet monkey into Germany but instead the furry friend was confiscated by German officials.

According to The Associated Press, Bieber arrived in Munich last week with the monkey in tow but did not have the proper documentation to bring him into the country. Thomas Meister, a customs spokesperson, informed Bieber that the capuchin monkey must stay in quarantine with the proper officials until he leaves the country.

TMZ reported that the monkey was a gift from Mally Mall. Mall took to Twitter to post a photo of the “As Long As You Love Me” singer with his new pet writing, “OG MALLY FIRST PIC WITH HIS POPS @JUSTINBIEBER."

While Bieber is currently traveling for his Believe tour, his California mansion was recently the subject of a massive drug and boozing party, compliments of controversial friend Lil Twist.

The singer has not tweeted about the bash or the new monkey.

Bieber was previously the owner of a furry hamster by the name of PAC, who was given to one of his fans back in December. PAC has since passed away.
