American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson attended the ACM awards on Sunday April 7, where she revealed that not only will country singer Blake Shelton be performing at her wedding, but he'll be officiating as well!
The 30-year-old told Nancy O'Dell of Entertainment Tonight that 36-year-old Shelton will be conducting the ceremony for her and fiance Brandon Blackstock.
Back in December, Shelton told Hollyscoop that he encouraged Clarkson's fiance to pop the question, saying, “I told Brandon, man you need to grow up and you figure out that you need to marry this girl."
He also promised that he would perform at the wedding, stating, “I am going on the record saying, I will do the music at the wedding or whatever you want to do, I’ll be that guy. I will play for four hours if I have to, cause you need to get you head out of your a** and ask that girl to marry you.”
Clarkson announced her engagement to Blackstock back in December via Twitter, writing, "I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)"
