Kid Rock is slamming Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake for charging up to $442 for their upcoming 'Legends Of the Summer' tour.
After proclaiming earlier this month that all seats on his own tour will be the same low price of $20, he’s calling the prices of the Legends of Summer tour “highway robbery.”
Entertainmentwise reports that tickets for the tour range from $52 to a VIP package, the Legends Club, that costs over $400.
Kid Rock commented on those prices to Piers Morgan, saying “It's garbage. It's highway robbery. I don't care who you are....I would consider both of them in a circle of friends in the business but I don't agree with it.”
The singer, who will reportedly take a $50,000 - $100,000 hit each show for also negotiating for lower prices on parking and drinks, went on to say “It's gotten out of hand.”
He said, “The price of concerts, the price of entertainment period. You know whether it's a sporting event, going to the movies, buying a soda there, whatever....I've always tried to keep prices what I think are fair. I make a lot of money. I can take a pay cut.”
