Former Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson has not always been confident about her looks. She spoke to BuzzFeed recently about trying to look glamourous in front of the cameras and her desire to tone down her look as she grows older.
The 45-year-old, who has appeared on the cover of Playboy a record breaking 13 times, told BuzzFeed about her insecurities, "I don't know if I ever really felt beautiful. I always feel like I don't -- I don't, really."
The actress revealed that during her Baywatch days, producers would try to get her to look more natural, but Anderson insisted on going glamourous. "They were insisting that I didn't wear eyelashes, but I said, 'I have my look, this is what I'm comfortable in.'"
She continued, "If you're going to be on TV, and if you're gonna be out and glamorous, the natural look can stay at home. If we're gonna do this, let's have fun with it!"
Now, as she gets older, Anderson says she wants to tone down her look a bit, stating that she is not the same girl she was in her Playboy days. "Now, I think I'm in charge of toning down my look or not. I feel like as I'm getting older, this is my version of toned down. I like it."
