Rapper RiFF RaFF to appear on ‘One Life to Live’ online reboot

Rapper and reality show star RiFF RaFF to make a cameo appearance on 'One Life to Live' online reboot.

Entertainer and rapper RiFF RaFF will be stopping by the One Life to Live online reboot for a cameo appearance next month.

RiFF RaFF is one of the music industry’s hottest rappers and he stopped by the set of the newly resurrected sudser in Stamford, CT on Wednesday to film his scenes. RiFF RaFF will play ‘Jamie Franko,’ a shady Miami art dealer, who visits Llanview’s popular hot spot, Shelter, looking for ‘Cutter,’ played by actor Josh Kelly. The rapper has several scenes with Kelly along with Bollywood actress Shenaz Treasury who plays ‘Rama.’ The episode featuring RiFF RaFF will air on May 7.

Rapper, reality star and Houston native RiFF RaFF, formerly associated with Soulja Boy's S.O.D. Money Gang Inc., first gained attention in late 2008 by releasing songs, freestyle-videos, and sketch clips, which showcased his flair for slapstick and performance art. In 2009, he made his presence known on MTV’s reality show From G's to Gents, with his extravagant wardrobe and the MTV logo tattooed on his neck. He then exploded on the Internet by releasing well-produced music videos on YouTube, which garnered more than 1 million views in less than two months.

Since 2010, the rapper has released several music videos including songs like “Ace of Space,” “Jose Canseco” and “Time,” released three albums and in February 2013, he revealed his upcoming collaborations with rappers Drake and A$AP Rocky. RiFF RaFF is signed to super producer Diplo's Mad Decent label and will soon release the Neon Icon album featuring Wiz Khalifa, YG, Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion) and Mike Posner.
