Selena Gomez is such a tease! The pop star and actress released another teaser video for her upcoming single “Come & Get It.”
The 20-year-old is set to release the new song April 8, according to Just Jared. Although the single will debut on Ryan Seachrest’s radio show, Selena will first perform the song herself in MTV’s Movie Awards on April 14.
In the video, Selena sings, “This love will be the death of me, but I know I’ll die happily.”
Many have speculated that the new song, as well as her last single “Rule the World,” is based on ex Justin Bieber, but music producer Jason Evigan insists otherwise.
According to MTV News, Evigan said, “She didn't really want to talk about the Justin [Bieber breakup] stuff too much in her music. She didn't want to bash him. She never wanted to write songs about him.”
His words may be premature considering she recently bashed Justin on Letterman and claimed that she “made him cry.”
However, Evigan added, “she wants to be empowering for these girls not to dwell on guys when guys break your heart. She's super uplifting, positive, amazing person who's, spiritually, she's really strong. And she's a really cool girl. I think she's gonna have a great year for her.”
