Michael Buble praises Reese Witherspoon: 'She showed graciousness and class and great dignity'

Singer Michael Buble spoke to ET Canada recently, where he expressed his admiration for Reese Witherspoon, who he did a duet with on his latest album.

27-year-old Buble asked Witherspoon to feature on his song "Something Stupid," and got to know her in the process. He told ET Canada, "Getting to know her, she's a kind, humble, down-to-earth, real girl that I adore."

Of her recent arrest, Buble praised her for handling it well, stating, "Everyone makes mistakes. It's just a matter of, really, how you come back from 'em. I thought that she just showed graciousness and class and great dignity."

He continued, "I hope that when I make mistakes that I come back the same way. ... I'm sure she wishes she could go back but the truth is...she's got a beautiful family and beautiful kids and I think that's what's most important for her."

Buble is due to have his own child with wife Luisana Lopilato soon, stating that he does not care what path his future son decides to follow, as long as he is healthy. "I'm just going to try to be a good dad like my dad was and like his dad was. ... If he turns out to be a great, macho hockey player or a gay ballet dancer, I'll be just as happy as long as my kid is happy."

He and Lopilato have yet to choose a name for their son, stating that they want to choose something that their son will be proud of, but that holds meaning as well.
