This week on America’s Next Top Model, the models interviewed people on the street with Perez Hilton and then cross-dressed to shoot a perfume commercial.
Last week, Jourdan earned best photo, and this week, she was getting on everybody’s nerves. In the house, Jourdan stood in front of her picture gazing at herself. Kanani thought Jourdan was being vain, “gawking at her own photo.”
The next morning, all the models had an hour to make phone calls. Since Jourdan won best photo, she had the first turn on the phone and called up her boyfriend. She told him all the other models are annoying because “my maturity level is so above theirs.” Jourdan spent over ten minutes on the phone, which angered everyone else who wanted time to call their families too.
Jeremy and Nina were the only ones on Jourdan’s side. Jeremy had a little crush on Jourdan, and Nina thought the only reason the others didn’t like Jourdan was because she’s such a good model. Later that day, the models headed to Hollywood Boulevard where Perez Hilton was waiting to meet them. Hilton told the models that today, they would be fashion correspondents interviewing people on the street, but there was a catch – Hilton would be telling them what to say and do through an earpiece.
When it was Phil’s turn, Hilton told him to ask the girl he was interviewing if she liked his weave and if she wanted to spank him. Jeremy was told to take off his clothes and ask his interviewee to feel his abs. When it was Marvin’s turn, Hilton told him to tell the guy he was interviewing that he was puny and needed to bulk up. Marvin ignored him because he was not comfortable with insulting someone. Later, Marvin commented that Hilton made it to the top by bringing other people down. Marvin asserted, “If I have to bash someone to become famous, I’d rather not be famous.” In the end, Marvin and Jiana were the bottom two, and Jeremy was the challenge winner. For his prize, he got to pick one of the ladies to go on a romantic dinner with. Of course, he chose his crush, Jourdan.
The next day, the models headed to the set of a commercial shoot. They would be acting in their own advertisement to promote a perfume. However, the guys would be dressed as girls, and the girls would be dressed as guys. Also, the end of the commercial would involve a steamy kiss. Cory was the only guy excited to cross-dress, saying he was ready to show his androgynous side. Cory and Alexandra were a business couple in their commercial. While Cory did as well as he thought he would, Alexandra didn’t seem committed.
Renee and Marvin were a surfer couple. They were doing great until the ending kiss, where Marvin licked Renee’s face! Jourdan and Jeremy got selected for the goth couple. Jourdan didn’t know how to act because she said she had never seen a goth person in her sheltered small hometown. Finally, it was time for panel. Kanani got the best score for her commercial – a “ten” from all three judges. Jourdan, on the other hand, tried to make excuses for her poor commercial, telling the judges she didn’t know what goth was. Tyra retorted that she doesn’t like dumb models – her models should be cultured and worldly.
With the challenge scores, judges' scores, and social media scores added up, Cory earned the highest score of the week, with Kanani right on his tail. The bottom two models were Alexandra and Jiana. Tyra told Alexandra that she’s a “floater,” just making it by each week. Jiana had a bad performance this week, although she’s usually near the top. The scores were tallied up with the result that Alexandra would be going home.
See what crazy challenges the models have to do next time, on Friday at 9/8c on the CW.
