Jessica Alba insists that her body is far from perfect, despite the way the media has portrayed her. Now a 32-year old mother of two, Alba says that she has a muffin top, cellulite, and stretch marks.
What's to blame? According to US Magazine, Alba says, "I have a brutally short attention span. It means I'm useless at working out. I get so bored. I have cellulite and stretch marks -- and I have a muffin top!" Back in 2011, Alba described her strategies for beating workout boredom. She said, "In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. [Workout] partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out."
The actress recently published a book on healthy living called The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True To You, and she has a lot to say about healthy eating in addition to fitness. "I started cooking for myself at 12 because a lot of food my family ate was processed. I wanted fresh," she explained to Women's Health UK. "I eliminated microwave foods, things with too much salt, and tried to eat more natural food, things that were cooked in a kitchen as opposed to a factory."
E! Online reports that Alba shared many of her favorite recipes with the magazine, including pizza, roasted chicken, and ice pops. However, if you can't get your hands on a copy of the magazine, they were also printed in Alba's book.
