Both Damon and Douglas have previously been nominated for Outstanding Guest Star in a Comedy Series; Damon in 2011 for 30 Rock and Douglas in 2002 for Will & Grace.
Damon has also been nominated as a co-producer for Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Project Greenlight) in 2002 and for the same show, Outstanding Reality Program in 2004 and 2005.
Douglas has received Emmy nods for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for The Streets of San Francisco in 1974 and Outstanding Continuing Performance by a Supporting Actor, also for The Streets of San Francisco in 1975 and 1976.
The Telegraph reports that neither actor has been an Emmy presenter before.
