American Idol producers are facing a lawsuit from former contestants alleging racial discrimination. According to a report Monday, the lawsuit will move forward. Ten contestants are suing for $25 million a piece, claiming they were disqualified from the show based on their race. Fox and the show's producers have hired new trial lawyers as preparation.
The Emmys went down Sunday, and one of the more noteworthy winners was Stephen Colbert, who beat out The Daily Show with Jon Stewart for the first time in the show's existence.
