Three weeks later and folks are still talking about Miley Cyrus’s VMA performance. Cher came out calling the performance “so bad” while promoting her new album. Cher criticized the performer, saying, “She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great.” However, Robin Thicke’s wife, Paula Patton, doesn’t understand what everyone’s making such a fuss about. “All my friends do it like that,” she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
Justin Timberlake’s aunt was arrested for stealing over $60,000 from Timberlake’s mother and step-father. The aunt, Jane Harless, had been forging checks with Timberlake’s stepfather’s signature for over two years. She was charged with charged with 121 counts of forgery, four counts of identity theft and two counts of property theft. The family is currently trying to keep the incident private.
Zac Efron reportedly completed a stint in rehab five months ago. It was first assumed it was for his drinking problem, but TMZ reported that it was in fact for an addiction to cocaine. "It was common knowledge he was struggling with cocaine,” said an unidentified source, but Efron’s rep has refused to comment on the claims.
France is working on outlawing child beauty pageants following a new bill lawmakers passed that would jail parents for entering their children in those type of competitions. If the lower house National Assembly agrees to the bill, children under 16 would not be allowed to enter beauty competitions. The beauty pageant debate was sparked by a 210 Vogue cover featuring a child made up like an older model.
