The Smithsonian will be receiving over 20 props and puppets from The Muppets to join Kermit the Frog. Jim Henson’s daughter, Cheryl, will be donating characters like Miss Piggy from The Muppets as well as characters from Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock. Miss Piggy will permanently be in the museum starting March of 2014.
Taylor Swift met with a 7-year-old fan who was hit by a car right before a show in Chicago. Grace Markel was going with her parents to a Swift show in Chicago on August 10 when she was hit by a car and immediately rushed to the hospital. Grace suffered skull fractures, head lacerations and a concussion. However, Grace did get to attend a show in September, and when Swift heard her story she invited Grace and her family backstage. The two posed for pictures and Swift signed the young girl’s shirt.
The new iPhone 5's fingerprint scans have already been hacked. The new iPhone just hit markets this past weekend and almost immediately the website istouchidhackedyet.com surfaced. The site offered $16,000 cash to the first person that could successfully hack the new iPhone security system. The first group to successfully hack the system and win the money was the Chaos Computer Club. Apple has yet to comment on the hacking.
