Beware when you're driving the streets of Santa Monica – Gwyneth Paltrow just passed her motorcycle test. The actress took both the written test and a practical test at the Department of Motor Vehicles, and passed Tuesday.
According to the Daily Mail, Paltrow almost hit a school bus last week with her daughter, Apple, riding on the back of her Vespa scooter. The bus driver was fortunately able to hit the brakes just in time. Hopefully she's learned a thing or two since then. But apparently, she stayed clear of school buses during her motorcycle practical test.
TMZ reports that the Iron Man actress was in and out of the DMV, but not before renewing her regular license and retaking her driver's license photo after she was unsatisfied with her first.
This summer, it became a habit for her family, including husband Chris Martin, 9-year-old Apple and 7-year-old Moses to scoot around on two wheels to avoid the LA traffic. In fact, Martin and little Moses were riding right behind Paltrow when she had the close-call with the school bus.
