Lane Kiffin was fired as head coach of the USC Trojans college football team after an embarrassing loss to Arizona State on Saturday. West Coast legend Snoop Lion's son, Cordell Broadus, who is a junior in high school and he felt that this firing was long overdue.
Perez Hilton reports that the defeated Trojans boarded their plane and headed back to L.A. As the team jumped on their bus at LAX, Kiffin was pulled aside and fired on the spot.
Kiffin suffered another insult as he had to find a separate ride home.
Out of many USC fans that felt this was bound to happen was high school junior wide receiver Broadus who is best known as Snoop Dogg’s youngest son. Cordell is a top 10 wide receiver recruit for the 2015 class and is rated 4 stars.
In his interview with 247Sports Broadus has been wondering why it took forever for Southern California to get rid of Lane Kiffin.
“I feel that he should have been fired a while ago and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like,” Broadus said.
According to Sports Illustrated tracking, the 6'2", 185 pound 16-year-old received an offer from USC in April and is considered one of the top wide receiver recruits in the country.
This firing could be a huge factor in which school Cordell will choose, being that USC is one of his prospect schools. The whole Southern California area would love to have Snoop Dogg's cheering them on in the stadiums.
