Taylor Swift’s alleged ‘F-bomb’ was heard ‘round the nation at the MTV Video Music Awards, but it turns out her foul mouthed mocking was not addressed at ex-beau Harry Styles, but rather her BFF Selena Gomez.
Swift was caught on camera mouthing ‘Shut the f** up’ just as her ex –boyfriend prepared to present a Moon Man award when the camera flashed to Swift seemingly mouthing “oh shut the f*** up.”
Tour mate Ed Sheeran has put the rumors to bed explaining that the f-bomb was not directed at Styles, but rather Gomez, Us Weekly reports. Gomez reportedly leaned over saying that Miley Cyrus would take home the award for Best Pop Video - a category they were both nominated for. Swift replied by telling Gomez to “shut the f*** up” and quickly realized she was busted on camera.
Sheeran explained in an interview that Swift confided in him after the VMA’s saying, “I think I messed up.”
Shortly after the alleged diss, Swift and Styles posed together in a photo at the VMA’s after party.
