Adele passed her driving lesson test in the UK without her instructor recognizing her.
The 25-year-old Grammy-winning singer was able to get her license with only performing one minor mistake during the test, according to Inquistr. She received zero special treatment by her driving instructor, probably because he never heard of her before.
“I didn’t know who Adele was so she started singing in her lessons,” said Noel Gaughan, 49. “She would sing some beautiful songs and say 'you must know this one’ but I don’t really know many celebrities.”
The Press Association reports that in the UK, Gaughan taught other well-known celebrities at the Intensive Courses in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertifordshire. Each celebrity Gaughan says he didn’t know they were famous. Other students he taught include Niall Horan from One Direction, Edward Dwane from Mumford and Sons, X-Men actor James McAvoy, singer Mika and actress Gemma Arterton.
When Niall was a student, Gaughan admitted driving was difficult with screaming girls surrounding the car at traffic lights.
Adele is being sought over by casinos in Las Vegas hoping she will headline concerts. She has yet to accept an offer, but one casino has reportedly offered $40 million.
