Kelly Clarkson married Brandon Blackstock just over a week ago, and to celebrate, the couple bought a $2.86 million house.
The house is located in Hendersonville, Tenessee, where singers such as Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and June Carter once called home, reports yahoo omg!. Now, celebrities including Taylor Swift, Hayden Panettiere, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Jack White and Sheryl Crow, among others call it home.
The house was finished in 2007 and has been on the market since 2009 – it was originally listed at $4,999,000. According to Zillow, the house sits on 4.06 acres and has seven bedrooms and nine-and-a-half bathrooms. Also found in the home are a library, an elevator, a home theater, a gym, a rec room and a private dock.
The new house is great for the original American Idol winner's growing family. She has two stepkids, and she revealed on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show earlier this month that she can't wait to have kids, saying, "I want babies, like, right off the bat! Well, I'm totally gonna have a girl. My first child will be a girl—I know it in my soul."
