The Patriots dealt the Saints their first loss Sunday in a comeback behind Tom Brady.
Before the Brady comeback came a bit of an offensive stall for the Pats. With 2:46 to play, the Patriots turned the ball over on downs, then with 2:24 left Brady threw a pick. Even after these late game mistakes the Patriots still came out on top 30-27.
A lot of the fans at Gillette Stadium left after Brady's interception and effectively missed one of Brady's best career touchdown drives. According to NFL.com Brady led the Patriots' offense 70 yards down field for a score in only 1:08. He capped the drive off with a 17-yard touchdown pass to Kenbrell Thompkins with five seconds left in the game.
USA Today reports that Saints tight end Jimmy Graham, who led the NFL in receiving yards coming into the game, ended the game without a catch.
"Sorry you you had to rewrite some of those stories at the end," Bill Belichick said. "That game took about five years off my life."
