Nina Dobrev of The CW’s The Vampire Diaries has posed topless to support President Obama’s health care law. Her chest is covered by a sign that reads “#GetCovered.”
She posted the image on Instagram and on her WhoSay page. “Im Canadian. We have healthcare for all. If you dont have insurance go to http://say.ly/cdi6TN2 and#GetCovered ,Because w/o it, youre naked,” she wrote.
The link she included goes to HealthCare.gov and Dobrev, 24, is just the latest celebrity to support the new law. According to E! News other celebrities who have used the #GetCovered hashtag to show their support include Emily VanCamp, John Legend, Rosario Dawson, Kerry Washington, Connie Britton and Kate Bosworth.
Lady Gaga also posed with a “#GetCovered” sign, although she actually wore clothes for her picture.
Dobrev’s black and white photo has garnered 96,500 likes already.
Dobrev is reportedly dating Dancing With The Stars’ Derek Hough, the older brother of Julianne Hough. She currently stars on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, which just kicked off its latest season last night.
