The American Music Awards honor the best artists in the music industry today, but for some stars, their acclaimed musical talents do not extend to their fashion sense.
At every award show, we roll our eyes as fashion disasters walk down the red carpet in unfortunate frocks and wonder, “What were they thinking?!” However, the all important worst dressed list is sometimes half the fun of watching the show. It reminds us that stars are human. They may be rich, famous, and meet to hand out awards that celebrate how great they are, but they make regretful fashion choices too!
Before the 2013 AMAs air on ABC Nov. 24th, we went through 40 years of fashion missteps to compile the 10 most egregious offenders. With four decades of history, there was a lot to choose from. Everything from tent-like bell bottoms to over-exposed outfits have walked the AMAs’ red carpet.
