A security guard at Poland's Katowice airport, Grzegorz Paczek, made a great catch to save a baby as it was falling off a table.
According to E! News, the child's father was busy grabbing his stuff from the conveyor belt after going through airport security and didn't notice his child was about to fall off the table right next to him.
Paczek then appears on the video after having made a diving catch to prevent the baby from getting hurt after falling off the table. The video doesn't even show how far the security guard dove to make the quickly timed catch. The father then immediately puts the child right back on the same spot on the table, showing he really hadn't learned, though then someone else picks up the child.
Paczek told The Telegraph, "I noticed the child was sitting on the table and he looked a bit off balance, and then he began falling forward."
The security guard added, "I was standing four to five metres away and I realised I had no chance of stopping him fall so I just threw myself along the ground with my arms outstretched."
He noted that he often pays attention to the kids around the security checkpoint as the parents are usually too busy with their attention elsewhere at that moment in an airport.
