Celine Dion’s first new album in six years, Loved Me Back to Life, has been released and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard top 200 charts.
In promotion of the new album and first single, Dion will be making a special appearance on NBC’s The Voice. Dion will be taking the stage with Ne-Yo to perform the ballad, “Incredible.” This will be a part of the special season finale of The Voice, AP reported. The Voice's special results show on Tuesday will announce which vocalist has won the competition. The final three include Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin and Jacquie Lee.
Following her performance on The Voice, Dion will be a host and performer on the CBS special, A Home For The Holidays. The special will focus on children who are in need of being adopted from foster care.
A recent drop on the charts has driven the heavy promotional schedule. The “My Heart Will Go On” singer spoke about the success of the album recently. “Of course, the record company wants to be the No. 1. They want to sell records. They want to make money. And don’t get me wrong, I want to. But I’m proud about what I have done with this record,” said Dion.
Dion also mentioned that she would like to try acting, but not in the way that Carrie Underwood performed The Sound of Music Live on NBC,Billboard added.
