Daily Wrap of All Things for Dec. 18: Dwayne Johnson, 'Walking Dead,' Mega Millions and Matthew Morrison

By Samantha Ravenscroft,

Here’s our daily wrap for Wednesday Dec. 18:

Dwayne Johnson topped Forbes’ list of top-grossing actors. The star narrowly beat out Robert Downey Jr. Steve Carrell took the third spot in the list with help from movie success Despicable Me 2.

Frank Darabont, creator of the Walking Dead, has filed a lawsuit against AMC networks. Darabont claims he is owed millions of dollars for the hit show. However, AMC claims the show is currently running a deficit. No statement has been released by AMC regarding the lawsuit.

There were two winners in the Mega Millions drawing Tuesday. The winners on the jackpot are from Georgia and California and will split the winnings. 20 other lucky ticket buyers won $1 million for matching all the numbers but the Mega Millions ball.

Glee is ending its run on television after its sixth season and star Matthew Morrison is considering an acting break when that season ends. Morrison plays Mr. Schuester on the hit show but is looking forward to getting back into theater and music, though he is sad to see the show end.
