Daily Wrap of All Things for Dec. 23: Nick Nolte, 'Fast & Furious 7,' Kate Winslet and 'Duck Dynasty'

By Samantha Ravenscroft,

Here’s our daily wrap of all things for Monday Dec. 23:

Nick Nolte has signed on to star in the Broadchurch remake Gracepoint. Nolte has been cast as Jack Reinhold, an old man who lives in Gracepoint, and will make regular appearances in the series. He heads a wildlife observation program which the victim of a murder, a young boy, volunteers for. Filming for the series starts next month.

Fast & Furious 7 premiere has been delayed a year from its original premiere date. The film will now be released April 2015. The film has been delayed due to the death of star Paul Walker but Walker will still appear in the film. The news of the new premiere date was announced via Vin Diesel’s Facebook page.

Kate Winslet and husband Ned Rocknroll announced the name of their child. The baby boy born on Dec. 7 has been named Bear. This is Winslet’s third child and Rocknroll’s first. The couple secretly married last December.

Two other networks reportedly have their eyes on the hit A&E show Duck Dynasty. If the network does drop the reality show following the life of the Robertsons then two networks, The Hunt Channel and Pursuit, have said they would like to take the show on.
