Daily Wrap of All Things for Dec. 25: UPS, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kanye West

By Samantha Ravenscroft,

Here’s our daily wrap for Wednesday Dec. 25:

Merry Christmas everyone!

Unfortunately, some people didn’t receive their Christmas packages on time. UPS announced that many packages did not arrive on time due to a system overload. All packages however should be delivered by Thursday Dec. 26 with more employees working tonight at the international air hub to ensure delivery.

Justin Bieber recently said he was retiring in an interview a week ago which his manager quickly shot down as just a joke. However, Bieber tweeted on Christmas Eve that he does plan to retire from music. The pop star says the media has made up too many lies and stories about him and want him to fail. The news of his retirement comes just hours before his movie Believe hit theaters.

The Associated Press named Jennifer Lawrence their 2013 Entertainer of the Year. The Hunger Games actress beat out Miley Cyrus for the title by only one vote. The remaining top five were Netflix, Breaking Bad, and Justin Timberlake.

Kanye West is being sued by former child singer Ricky Spicer. The 56-year-old claims West used his voice without permission on the track "Bound 2.”
