Daily Wrap of All Things for Dec. 30: Prince William, Bruce Springsteen and Boy Scouts of America

By Samantha Ravenscroft,

Here’s our daily wrap for Monday Dec 30:

Prince William is going back to school. The Duke of Cambridge will be studying at Cambridge University, taking classes in agricultural management. William will use the knowledge from his 18 to 20 hour lectures each week to understand issues currently affecting agriculture in the UK.

Bruce Springsteen’s new album was accidentally leaked early on Amazon this week. High Hopes was scheduled for a Jan. 14 release date but was available in its digital format to Amazon users. The album was quickly taken down but users had already bought the tracks one by one and file-sharing sites have already gained access to it.

Boy Scouts of America will be accepting gay members on Jan. 1. The motion was passed by a vote of 60 percent out of 1,400 voters to allow the policy to go into effect. Not everyone is pleased with the BSA’s decision; many churches have severed ties with the group but the Roman Catholic church and Mormon church still stand with the organization.
